Bio/Contact
I am a graphic designer and digital photo restoration specialist. I also take care of pets when their owner cannot.
̌
I love clean lines and simple expression with color and text as visual. I adhere to this when designing logos and marketing pieces for my clients.
After raising my two daughters as a stay-at-home mom, I decided to learn Photoshop because I love to take pictures and wanted to be able to 'develop' and edit them. I enrolled in the Photoshop course offered at the local community college and ended up earning a certificate. After this course, I wanted more, so I worked my way through the Adobe Creative Suite, course by course at the college learning Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Javascript, Dreamweaver, Lightroom and more. Course by course I made my way to becoming a graphic designer.
Communications is my background. With a degree in Speech Communications and Broadcasting, I went to work in Marketing and Events for a non-profit in Washington, DC. This was followed by work in Advertising Production at a magazine publishing company in New York City and then in Advertising Traffic Management and Production Management at an ad agency in Washington, DC. Through the years spent at home with my children I kept up with the growing technology and was prepared when the time came to go back to school.
